Is There a Deepscanner App? Use It on Your Phone
Date Published

No, there is no confirmed Deepscanner app in the App Store or Google Play. Deepscanner is a website that works in any phone or computer browser. You open deepscanner.app, enter a name, email or phone number, and read the report on the page. You can add the site to your home screen so it opens like an app.
- Install needed: none, it runs in your browser
- Works on: iPhone, Android and desktop browsers
- Home screen: add it from the browser menu
- Store apps called DeepScan: separate listings, check the developer
- Private: the person you search is never notified
Try it on your phone browser. Carrier, line type and location preview free in about 60 seconds. Cancel in one click.
Is there a Deepscanner app?
We have no confirmed app-store app for Deepscanner. The product is the website at deepscanner.app. If you searched "deepscanner app", the site itself is what you want, and it is built to work on a phone screen.
Many people search for an app because other people search sites, such as TruthFinder, have store apps. Deepscanner does not ask you to install one.
Do you need to download an app to use Deepscanner?
No. Open deepscanner.app in Safari, Chrome or any other browser. Pick the Name, Email or Phone tab, enter what you have and start the search. Nothing is installed, so nothing takes up storage and nothing needs updating.

The Deepscanner search box in a browser. Pick Name, Email or Phone.
How do you add Deepscanner to your home screen?
Use your browser menu. The exact wording changes by phone, but the steps are the same.
- Open deepscanner.app in your phone browser.
- Open the share or menu button. On iPhone Safari it is the share arrow. On Android Chrome it is the three dots.
- Choose "Add to Home Screen".
- Tap Add. An icon appears next to your apps and opens the site in one tap.
It is still the website, just with a shortcut.
Are the DeepScan apps in the app stores the same as Deepscanner?
Not that we can confirm. Searching the stores for "DeepScan" shows several listings with similar names. A Google Play app called DeepScan lists a support email at sam-realhomes.com, which is not a Deepscanner address. An iOS listing called "Deepscan - AI Search People" is one we have not verified as ours.
Before you install anything with a similar name, check three things:
- Developer name: does it match the company behind deepscanner.app?
- Support contact: real Deepscanner support is escalation@deepscanner.app, listed on deepscanner.app/help
- Billing: if a store app bills you, your refund goes through the store, not Deepscanner
Skip the store. Open the phone lookup in your browser, preview carrier, line type and location free, and get your money back if nothing is found.
Can you look up a phone number from your phone?
Yes. The phone lookup page on the site is made for it. Enter a number and you get a free preview of the carrier, line type and location in about 60 seconds. The full report adds names, addresses, relatives and social profiles tied to that number, in about 2 minutes.

The phone lookup page, ready to use in a phone browser.
Is it safe to use Deepscanner in a browser instead of an app?
Yes. Payments go through Stripe, searches are private, and the person you look up is never told. A browser has one more advantage: you can close the tab, and nothing stays on your phone. If you do not recognise a charge, write to escalation@deepscanner.app first. Refunds are processed within 24 hours. Read more in Is Deepscanner legit?
What can you search for on Deepscanner from a phone?
The main site takes a full name, an email address or a phone number. It does not search by home address, username or photo. If you only have one of those, you will need another route first. The report is the same on a phone or a laptop. Only the screen size changes.
- Needs updates: no, a website is always current
- Needs storage: none, nothing is installed
- Tells the person: no, the person is never notified
If you ever lose track of which account you used, search your inbox for emails from Deepscanner or for the Stripe receipt. Both show the email address on the account, which is the first thing support will ask for. A tab you left open in your phone browser also keeps your place, so a returning visit takes a few seconds.
Because Deepscanner is a website, there is also nothing to reinstall if you change phones. Open deepscanner.app on the new phone, sign in and carry on.
Have a number to check? Free preview first, cancel in one click, money back if nothing is found. The person is never notified.
Deepscanner is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Do not use it to make decisions about employment, housing, credit, insurance or tenant screening.
