Is BeenVerified legit?

Yes. BeenVerified is a US company that sells access to public records, social profiles and contact data. Its FAQ (fetched 29 Oct 2026) lists a customer service phone line and an email for cancellations, and its footer has its own "Is BeenVerified Legit?" page.

Negative reviews are mostly about the trial renewing and about data that lags real life. Those are billing and data-quality issues, not a failure to deliver.

• Do not use it to screen people. BeenVerified has an FCRA page in its footer; read it before using any report for hiring, housing or credit.

Reports are built from public data. BeenVerified does not see private messages, bank accounts or sealed records, so treat the report as a starting point.
